The Rhea County High School Theatre Students have been working very hard on a wonderful production to produce for the student body and community and it opens this weekend!
It Happened on Route 66, is a comedy that will keep you laughing! Sally, a celebrity-obsessed waitress, is waiting for the wedding between the glamorous celebrity couple Lovey Lamour and Johnny Jerome. Sally is surprised to find out that one of her customers turns out to be Lovey herself. With Johnny and the press chasing her after running away from her own wedding, she is forced to hide out at the diner until her car is fixed. Sally teaches Lovey about being a waitress at Cookie’s diner. Their entire scheme is threatened when a nosy photographer discovers Lovey’s identity and tells Johnny her location.
