The Tennessee Strawberry Festival announced on its Facebook page today, February 7, 2024, that they are now accepting applications for the Annual Tennessee Strawberry Pageant. Contestants of all ages up to 20 years old are encouraged to participate in this event.
There is a $55 (or more depending on the number of entries) entry fee according to the application. All checks need to be made payable to the Dayton Chamber of Commerce.
Each contestant will compete for Winner, First Runner-Up, Second Runner-Up, Prettiest Dress, and Personality Plus. The male contestants will compete for the same titles, but, instead of Prettiest Dress, it is Best Dressed.
The Miss and Mister 16-20-year-old division will compete for the following scholarship prizes: 1st Place $1,000 and 2nd Place $500. Checks will be made to the winner and their school. No scholarship funds will be awarded to an individual.

The Pageant is set to take place on Saturday, April 27, 2024, beginning at 10:00 AM Eastern Time. The location is the Rhea County High School located at 885 Eagle Lane in Evensville, Tennessee 37332.
