Tennessee Valley Theatre, a non-profit theatre organization located in Spring City, has announced their 2024 theatrical season. According to the organizations Facebook page, they have a full list of theatrical productions that you will be able to take advantage of this year.
Kicking off the season is Drinking Habits written by Tom Smith. Accusations, mistaken identities, and romances run wild in this traditional, laugh-out-loud farce. Two nuns at the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing have been secretly making wine to keep the convent’s doors open, but Paul and Sally, reporters and former fiancees, are hot on their trail. They go undercover as a nun and priest, but their presence, combined with the addition of a new nun, spurs paranoia throughout the convent that spies have been sent from Rome to shut them down. Wine and secrets are inevitably spilled as everyone tries to preserve the convent and reconnect with lost loves.
This show will run from February 23rd to March 3rd. Performances will be on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
The rest of the season has other shows on it such as Little Shop of Horrors and Zombie Prom. If you’d like to learn more about their upcoming season, you can visit their website at http://Www.tennesseevalleytheatre.com.
